North Central University Description:
Founded in 1930, North Central University is a private Christian college located on an eight-acre campus in downtown Minneapolis, Minnesota. The college is affiliated with the Assemblies of God Church. North Central students can choose from 35 majors, and the Christ-centered curriculum aims to create Pentecostal leaders who will serve God and the world. North Central has a 19 to 1 student / faculty ratio, and its tuition and costs are lower than most comparable private colleges.
Most students receive financial aid. In athletics, the North Central Rams and Lady Rams compete in the NCAA Division III Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) and Division II of the National Christian College Athletic Association.
