Glass Bulb Reindeer Ornament Craft
- 1). Cut the pipe cleaners in half with your scissors to end up with four equally sized pieces. Pair off the pipe cleaner pieces to form two crosses. Twist the horizontal pipe cleaner pieces around the vertical ones to create antler shapes.
- 2). Hot glue the pipe cleaners to the metal base of your light bulb. Tie a festive ribbon around the metal base and the ends of the pipe cleaners to hide any unsightly edges. Hot glue a small loop of ribbon to the top of the metal base so you can hang the ornament later.
- 3). Paint the glass portion of your light bulb with brown acrylic paint, or leave it as-is; if you paint the bulb, invert it for 2-4 hours in a jar, glass or other kind of makeshift drying stand.
- 4). Hot glue a pair of googly eyes to the glass portion of the bulb where it begins to widen out. Hot glue a red pompom or red button below the eyes for the reindeer's nose.
