Romantic Restaurants in Knoxville, Tennessee
- The Baker Peters Steak Mansion and Jazz Club is on the west side of Knoxville, less than 1 mile off Interstate 75 and just outside the Town and Country Commons. The building is a renovated 1864 home that still features ornate fixtures and intricate detailing. Signature dishes include seafood and saffron risotto, Benton's bone-in pork chop and boursin filet. Baker Peters also features live jazz and blues music most nights of the week in both the dining room and bar area.
- Naples Italian Restaurant is also west of downtown Knoxville and located just off Interstate 75. Since 1926, Naples has offered traditional Italian dishes mixed with American influences and ingredients. Some of their specialties include chicken saltimboca served in a balsamic tomato jam, roasted duck with a mandarin orange glaze and ravioli of the day, which is always made fresh. The dining room features rustic Italian decorations as well as private, candlelit tables.
- Regas Restaurant is located in the heart of downtown Knoxville at Regas Square. Regas includes both upscale classic dining at Regas Classic and more casual dining at The Gathering Place. Regas Classic has offered traditional American fine dining since 1919. Some of their specialties include fresh North Atlantic salmon, chicken picatta florentine and the aged Regas royal filet mignon. The formal atmosphere features white linens, dim lighting and candlelit tables.
- La Costa is located in Old City neighborhood, just south of downtown Knoxville. It is down the street from the Tennessee Theatre, Lawson McGhee Library and the Knoxville Museum of Art. La Costa offers an eclectic menu that combines Latin traditions with fresh local ingredients. The menu offers traditional dishes including grilled pork rib eye as well as unique entrees such as blackened tofu and garlic-cheese grits with a romesco sauce. La Costa features a casual lunch atmosphere with a dog-friendly outdoor patio. At night, however, the dining room is transformed with modern lighting that sets a dramatic and romantic ambiance.
