How to Select an Office Chair
- 1). Look at the chair controls. The height, back and arms should be easily adjustable from a sitting position.
- 2). Sit in the chair as you would while working. Check that there is no extra pressure on your thighs or knees. Make sure you can swivel easily without having to twist your back.
- 3). Lean back. You should be able to feel the lower back support; adjust the back if you need to.
- 4). Look at the seat to see if it is made of non-slippery, breathable fabric. Check the casters and base. They should be strong, roll easily and not rock the chair.
