Translate a Sentence of Latin - Vos estis victores, nos victi

Expression: Vos estis victores, nos victi.
Meaning: You are the winners, we the losers.

Notes:

The verb is from the "to be" verb sum. Although used once, as it is in both the Latin and the English translation, it is implied in both clauses, i.e., "we [are] the losers" or nos [sunt] victi.

Victi is a past participle from the 3rd conjugation verbvinco, renowned from Julius Caesar's saying: Veni, Vidi, Vici "I came, I saw, I conquered." Vici is the third principal part of the same verb.

Those whom Caesar conquered were also "victi."
