How to Replace an Aquastat

    • 1). Turn off the breaker switch for the boiler system at the breaker box before attempting to replace the aquastat.

    • 2). Loosen the screws on the aquastat controller with a screwdriver that connect the electrical wires to the controller. Make a note of how the wires are attached to the aquastat to make it easier to reattach the wires.

    • 4). Attach the new aquastat switch to the boiler unit with screws and connect the electrical wires to the switch.

    • 5). Turn the breaker switch on to the boiler unit at the breaker box.
