Race Relations

When it comes to relationships and dating, to marriage and children, race relations is just a part of the pot that includes prejudice, hatred, ignorance, stupidity, small-mindedness and a myriad of other painful belief systems.
Here are some facts - No matter who you are, you cannot help who you are chemically attracted to.
No matter who you are, you cannot help where you were born or what race you belong to.
No matter who you are, you are human - that is a race we all belong to.
As convenient as these statements may seem, they do not answer the question or provide a solution.
If you are attracted to someone who is respectful, loving and kind, then it shouldn't matter what others think, feel or say about their race, background or religion - but usually it does.
If you are attracted to someone who is rude, violent and cruel, then you should walk away and get away and stop allowing yourself to be abused - but you probably won't (for a while anyway).
First and foremost, attraction is chemical...
But we should try to make it a little more logical.
Do not be swayed by the opinions and prejudices of others.
Set boundaries that matter - Respect and Communication should be essential.
Race and Religion should be ignored.
If you cannot understand this or get over this, then you are simply proving yourself to be ignorant.
Every race has its issues; every religion has its wars; every nation has its prejudices; every person has their ideas, but if you base your decision on race and religion, then you have not made up your opinion - you were given it - and that means you are a waste of a human.
