Failure is a Seed For Achievement - 4 Tips to Use it to Your Advantage

All of us have difficulties and challenges in our lives.
Some of these can even be called failures.
But the only true failures in our lives are the ones that stop us from succeeding and prevent us from moving on.
Each failure brings with it a lesson to be learned.
There is always a gem of knowledge or insight that can be gained.
There are always positive things we can get from any setbacks and failures.
In life, we should not be afraid of failing but rather, realize that we are learning and growing with each one.
Use these tips to let failure move you forward in life.
1.
Let it motivate you Instead of being whipped, challenge yourself to do better.
Believe you can achieve and overcome.
Let it be the catalyst to get you moving.
Let it prove to you that you can get up, dust off the negativity and get moving again.
Show the world you can learn from your mistakes and improve yourself because of them.
2.
Learn from them but don't dwell on them You should always study what went wrong but make sure you are using this info not to punish yourself but to make an action plan for improvement.
You should assess what went right and what did not.
Identify the causes and breakdowns and don't worry about blame.
Look for things to change and things to correct and not reasons to crucify.
Find corrective actions you can take that will improve your results.
3.
Once you have assessed and learn - move on The past is done and over and can never be changed.
What matters most is the current direction you are going.
Stay focused on the positive future opportunities and not the past problems.
Apply what you have learned.
Use your new found wisdom to put new plans into action.
Mature from the situation.
You are now better because of it.
A lesson learned is only truly learned when applied to a better future.
4.
NEVER let it stop you For failure to be a seed for achievement, you must never let it stop you from your desired outcome.
You must never turn around and go back.
Many great things in life would have never been done or created if the person doing them had given up when faced with failure, defeat and challenges.
Failure is only temporary unless we make it permanent.
The choice is up to you.
How much you gain from your failures is based upon how much you learn and how much you change your life for the better because of them.
Good luck to you in all your future goals! (c) 2010 Knoll Mountain LLC Bruce Knoll
