How to Defeat Giovanni in "Pokemon: Indigo"
- 1). Click on Giovanni near his gym in Viridian City. A pop-up box will appear beside his avatar.
- 2). Click "Start Battle Now." Wait a moment for the battle screen to appear. Your starting Pokemon will appear on-screen along with his starter, a level 85 Rhyhorn.
- 3). Select your Pokemon's attack, and then click "Attack." Water-type attacks do maximum damage to Giovanni's Pokemon. For example, level 40 Pokemon with Water Pulse attacks can take down Giovanni's Pokemon just by exploiting its weaknesses.
- 4). Repeat Step 3 until you defeat Giovanni's Rhyhorn, Dugtrio, Nidoking and Rhydon.
