How to Install an Exhaust Fan in a Sunroom
- 1). Place the exhaust fan on the wall where you would like to mount the unit and trace around it with a pencil.
- 2). Drill a hole in each corner of the outline using a power drill. This will provide an access point for the saw to cut a hole.
- 3). Insert the blade of the reciprocating saw into one of the holes and cut around the outline.
- 4). Remove the cut section from the wall.
- 5). Place the exhaust fan into the newly cut hole in the wall.
- 6). Insert screws into the screw holes in the fan mount and tighten them with the power drill or use a screwdriver.
- 7). Plug the fan into an outlet or wire it a switch on the wall to provide power.
