How to Start Lawsuits Against Realty Companies

1). Document the transaction and keep records about every detail. Determine the realtor's name and address, write down dates and times of meetings, and record any pertinent event that gave rise to your injury.
2). Speak to an attorney in your area who specializes in property lawsuits or civil lawsuits in general. Bring the information about the transaction with you. Discuss whether you have a valid claim against the realty company.
3). File a complaint in the court located in the county where the transaction took place. Name the realty company and its agents as defendants in the complaint. List the facts that demonstrate the company wronged you in some way. Ask the court to grant you relief (in the form of money, typically).
4). Deliver a copy of the lawsuit to the realtor or the realtor's agent at the realtor's place of business.
