Reusing/Repurposing Website Content

Reusing or repurposing website content is an old marketing trick designed to garner more business promotion.
In fact reusing popular content continues to drive website traffic.
This means that people do find the same things interesting.
The trick is to repackage the content into different formats in a variety of media so as to disguise it.
The essence is the same though.
By delivering great and meaningful content, small business owners gain more credibility and reputation.
This in turn will increase website traffic, and hopefully convert into sales.
One of the reasons that the content is repackaged or repurposed is to give readers and consumers a choice on how they want to receive or view the content.
And because it is the same content, it does not cost that much to do the necessary procedures.
It is also quite easy to do that.
Integration among different software programs make it easy to publish the content in different formats.
Small Australian business owners can utilize a variety of ways to help them get some free promotion.
Some of them are discussed below.
Make it into slides.
Many people are visual learners and adding graphics and other effects make the content stand out.
It gives a greater 'oomph'.
It has the ability to drive home the message deeper and in such a way that people will remember.
It does take time and skill to produce slides.
The content has to be edited so that only the essence is left behind.
But slides create more emphasis.
That's why it's used to make presentations.
Write testimonials and product reviews.
This is more applicable to content that has interviews and quotes from other people.
Product reviews can come from any form of content.
All you need is a keen eye to recognize it as a testimonial, extract that part of the content and create it into a product review.
People will notice it more if it's condensed rather than a part of a much bigger article.
It's also great for link building.
Compile into an eBook.
If your website's content follows a certain theme, there must be enough to create an eBook of fifty to a hundred pages.
A quick edit must be done to organize these ages so that it is coherent and it flows naturally.
This is a popular choice when the content is instructional in nature.
For example, many food bloggers have repurposed their content and created cookbooks.
Transpose into an Audio Book or Podcasts.
For the visually impaired, this is a great way to receive content.
It's also a great format for those who are multitasking.
Listening to podcasts while driving or jogging is popular nowadays.
You don't even have to pay for a person to record the audio version.
There are some great text-to-speech software that sounds very natural.
Translate to another language.
Your blog or website might be popular in your country, but there is a language barrier to think off.
There is a much wider audience out there.
Offer the same content translated into different language.
Try it on one additional language first and if it proves popular, maybe expand to include a range of other languages.
