- 1). Buy a few pumpkins and cut out the top of the pumpkin so that you can get at the seeds.
- 2). Scoop out all of the seeds and place them in a large bowl.
- 3). Throw the seeds in a strainer and run them under the water. This will help get the pumpkin guts off of the seeds.
- 4). Lay the seeds in between two paper towels to dry them.
- 5). Place the seeds on a baking sheet and cook them for 10 minutes at 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
- 6). Remove the seeds from the oven and place them in a container with a lid.
- 7). Feed your parrot a small bunch of seeds at a time, keeping the remaining seeds fresh in the container.
