Thinking Outside the Box With Your Article Marketing

If you're experienced with article marketing, then you know that the more articles you can post, the more likely it is that a potential customer will be drawn to them, and thus, drawn to your business.
But what if you're not experienced with this kind of marketing, and you're running out of ideas for what to do and how to write your articles, there may be an option you haven't yet considered.
Thinking outside the box with your article marketing is all about finding different outlets for your articles than you would normally consider.
First of all, think about how your product or service is connected to other products or services.
These don't have to be competing products or services, in fact, it's better if they're not.
You can post articles about other products or services that are related to yours but not in competition with them, and then mention the existence of your own product or service and how it differs, what its strengths and uses are, and provide a link to your business web site along with your other resources.
For example, if you are a plumber, you might consider posting articles on a site having to do with the selection and manufacture of bathroom fixtures, like sinks and toilets.
Manufacturers aren't in direct competition with you, since you are the service provider who actually installs them and not the outlet selling them.
You'll make money no matter what kind of toilet or sink the customer buys.
They'll still need someone to install it, so why not reference yourself when mentioning the installation process? This same strategy can be applied to all manner of article marketing, as well!
