Yellow Daisy Festival Stone Mountain Ga, 2010 will be here Sept. 9-12. This year is the 42nd year for the Yellow Daisy Festival and it's going to be better than ever. The Festival begins at 10am on the 9th and goes till 6pm on both the 9th and 10th. On September the 11th it will close at 7:30pm. The final day of the festival the hours will be 10am-6pm.
Stone Mountain's Famous Yellow Daisy Festival after 42 years, is still a FREE event for the public. A $10 vehicle entrance fee is a small price to pay for one of the TOP 5 Arts and Crafts Festivals in the Nation. Over 400 artisians and crafters from 38 states will display their wares for purchase over the four day weekend.
Live entertainments is available throughout the day as well as all weekend long. From Country Artist "The Band Perry" to Live Clogging shows and a Childrens Activity Corner, there will be something to keep every little body happy. Be sure and look for the "Men's Den" a drop off area for the male non-shoppers to watch football in recliners. Be sure and pick up some
delicious festival food to give your male non-shopper before you drop him off. There is always a huge variety of festival vendors as well as restuarants that stay on site year round.
Remember no coolers but bring your shopping bags and wagons or carts. The park is 3,500 acres so be sure to wear your comfy shoes and bring some sun screen. There is a map to help you find your favorite vendors as well as the new vendors.
