Do you ever feel as if a cloud is living inside your brain? Perhaps your thoughts are clouded over? This is called "Brain Fog.
" This is a common problem among society today but it has no medical diagnosis.
Living a fast paced lifestyle and actively participating in the wrong food habits; causes us to supply our brain with the wrong fuel and we find ourselves experiencing this phenomenon.
Example: Going into a room and not remembering why you came into the room in the first place.
Looking up a phone number, yet can't remember why.
Staring at our computer screen and can't remember what we were going to do.
Or just plan fogginess in our heads.
Most of society has been there.
Stress is one of the main culprits.
The extent of the fogginess we feel depends on how we react to a stressful situation.
Of course it is impossible to totally avoid stress but you can try to avoid putting yourself in places where you are likely to get stressed.
It is imperative to our mental health to learn stress management skills.
All is not lost and we can help ourselves alleviate this problem to some degree.
Getting Rid Of Brain Fog · Get a good night's sleep.
We must provide the brain the time to rest.
Get at least seven hours of sleep.
· Don't live in messy surroundings.
Clean space helps in avoiding brain fog.
Stay organized and clean and avoid cluttering our home or office.
· If work is a problem, causing our brain fog; remove ourselves from the area.
No matter how busy we are, a walk will give us enough time to clear out all the fogs and will help us think clearly.
We could also stretch for a few minutes.
· Acupuncture might help in the treatment of brain fog.
There is a point under the collarbone which connects the breastbone; that acts as a focal point and can help us clear mental fog.
Find this point and tap our fingers on it · We must drink plenty of water and eat nutritious food.
When dehydrated; we are more likely to fall into brain fog.
· Massage and pull down on our earlobes helps in reducing pressure in our head; helping our brain to think clearly.
· We must not eat sugar on an empty stomach.
Eating too much sugar, sugar-containing products, sodas, sweets, white rice, pastas etc will only make our brain fog worse.
