How Can You Build Confidence Without Self-Esteem?
There is absolutely no point in deluding yourself that you can become confident without self-esteem.
Confidence is a by product of having self-esteem about yourself and what I like to call inner self confidence.
This unlike outer confidence is the real deal and can't be bought.
I am sure you have seen many people, some that you know only too well who portray an outer confidence that belies an awkward and susceptible inner confidence.
The person that tries to fake his or her own persona is only fooling themselves.
You have to look deep inside of yourself to see the real person and the sooner you face up to this, the sooner you realise that you cannot build confidence without self-esteem.
While the person with the fake, outer confidence thinks that everybody else is fooled, it is themselves who are being fooled.
It only takes a few threads, a bit of bling, a fancy haircut and maybe an intake of excess alcohol to put on this act, but to look deep inside of yourself and see the real you is surely easier and with greater benefits.
Then and only then will you be able to build an inner confidence that you know is genuine and without flaw.
You don't need to live your life in this fantasy and be without self-esteem.
Have you noticed the person with a true inner confidence that is infectious to everyone they meet? You know it is genuine by the way they conduct themselves.
From the firm handshake to the warm smile.
They are self- assured in almost everything they do.
They don't need to put on an act for an audience and everything about them is natural and self-confident.
You may think that you will never feel the same inner confidence because you have a different personality or maybe you are a little introverted and feel insecure.
Even the most confident person has issues and it is how that person deals with them and keeps them in check that separates them from their opposite who is without self-esteem.
This person lets things get on top of them and finds it hard to keep control over everyday events.
We first need to feel good about ourselves and there lies the main problem.
When you are comfortable with yourself, then you can start to feel in control of your emotions and start to build that inner confidence that also equates to your own self-esteem.
