The thought of "camping" makes my wife sick to her stomach.
Brings her back to her days as a Girl Scout which she detested.
When I brought up the idea of purchasing an RV, my wife said she would never go with me! This was not a nice thought.
However, we soon found out that we could still enjoy the luxury of a motorhome without having to spend our nights at state forests or campgrounds.
How, you ask? Spending our nights at Wal Marts or Flying J travel plazas all over the country.
We love it.
We use our motorhome to travel from place to place, not to stay in one place for a week at a time.
We love to move around and the RV allows us to travel on our schedule, and not have to rush to meet a hotel reservation deadline.
You will find that the capability to use your own bathroom facilities is far superior to the conditions at public rest areas.
You can cook out or cook in and the best thing is that you sleep in your own bed each night without worry who the previous occupant of the bed was.
And you can park at the shore to have oceanfront property or you can park in the mountains with a view like you only see in picture books or movies.
Its all yours with an RV.
