Cutting an Inside Corner

• 1). Set the miter saw 45 degrees to the right.
  
  
• 2). Position the right piece of molding on the saw, with the top of the molding on the cutting table and the back of the molding against the cutting fence, and make the cut.
  
  
• 3). Set the miter saw 45 degrees to the left.
  
  
• 4). Position the left piece of molding on the saw, with the top of the molding on the cutting table and the back of the molding against the cutting fence, and cut.
  
  
• 5). Hold the two pieces against the wall in the corner to ensure they come together seamlessly.
  
  

Cutting an Outside Corner

• 1). Set the miter saw to 45 degrees to the right.
  
  
• 2). Position the left piece of molding on the saw, with the top of the molding on the cutting table and the back of the molding against the cutting fence, and make the cut.
  
  
• 3). Set the miter saw to 45 degrees to the left.
  
  
• 4). Position the right piece of molding on the saw, with the top of the molding on the cutting table and the back of the molding against the cutting fence, and cut.
  
  
• 5). Hold the two pieces against the wall in the corner to ensure they come together seamlessly.
