Shadow came to us a little over a year ago.. He was the skinniest flea bag that I had ever seen and my heart just went out. Starved for attention and scared of the dog, he slowly became part of our family. Now, he head butts the dog, cleans our other cat and walks around talking with us all the time (and has even tried his paw at driving my husband's power wheelchair!). We've gotten rid of the fleas, and this skinny guy has become a porker ~laughing~ I think that he came to us needing us as much as we needed him, but just didn't know at the time.
