Customs regulations in Iceland are controlled by the Iceland Directorate of Customs. To make sure your arrival in Iceland goes smoothly, here are the current customs regulations in Iceland:
Typical travel items like clothes, cameras, and similar personal goods normal for the purpose of your visit can be taken through customs in Iceland duty free, without having to be declared (= green customs line upon arrival in Iceland).
Going through the green customs line is for travelers without anything to declare, but customs does random checks. Gifts can be taken to/from Iceland up to a value of ISK 10,000.
