How to Write a Great Article Every Time

You can't write a great article by just putting words together.
Great articles don't just happen because you have a bunch of sentences.
Articles take finesse to bring them together.
They need to be readable, understandable, and they need to flow comfortably for the reader.
First: Establish your reason for the article before you start writing.
You need to be clear about why you are writing the article so that you can stay on track throughout.
There is a big difference between writing an article to persuade someone to buy a product and writing one to teach someone how to build a shelf.
You need to understand what your purpose for the article is and why you are writing it before you can move forward.
Second: You need to be able to write in the language of the reader in your target audience.
For example, if you are writing about children's bikes that you want parents to read than you need to write it to a parent.
When you are writing the article, think like a parent and write about things that a parent would be interested in.
You also need to consider the language of the reader.
If you want Americans to read the article, then it needs to be written in American English.
American English is not proper English which would be used if you wanted readers from any other English speaking country.
There are many words in American English that have double meanings and there are a lot of slang terms that are specific to different parts of the United States.
Other languages may have the same type of issues.
People that are native to the language will know all the slang terms that are used within that language.
Their articles will be easier to read and understand by readers of that country.
Third: You need to write using proper grammar for the language that you are using.
People won't stick with an article if they can't understand what it says.
If you read the article out loud, you should be able to read it from beginning to end without stumbling over any parts and without having to add any words.
You should be using the read out loud method of checking every article that you write.
Fourth: You need to be knowledgeable about the subject of the article.
A great article should be 750 - 1000 words and you can't write that many words about something that you don't know anything about.
Also writing knowledgeably will keep the reader interested in your article.
Fifth: Be passionate about your topic; you can't get readers interested in your topic if you aren't interested in your topic.
Share with your reader the same things about the topic that gets you excited.
If you like it, chances are that many other people will also like it and for the same reasons that you do.
Sixth: While you are writing the article, be sure to stay on topic.
If you start wandering away from your topic, you can lose readers.
It helps many people to start with an outline so that they stay on topic and don't forget the key points.
It also helps to step away from the article for a couple of minutes after you believe that you are done.
When you come back to the article, reread it and see if you wondered off topic at any point.
Seventh: Don't get hung up on the SEO (search engine optimization) terms.
You can fit 2-3% into an article without making it too obvious.
In some articles you can even get up to 5% and it still sounds natural.
If you focus on the SEO terms your article will not flow and it will not sound natural.
Once you are done with writing the article, look for the spots where you used words like 'it' or 'that' to describe your topic.
Replace those words with your keywords in all spots that it fits within the sentence.
Keep in mind that some sentences may need to be restructured so that they flow naturally once the keywords have been entered.
Many people think that it is easy to write an article and they would be right.
Anyone can write an article but if you want people to read your article than it has to be a good.
A good article will be read by some people, a great article will be read by lots of people.
If you want your article to sell your product, a great article can be the most effective sales pitch.
If you want people to follow the instructions in your article to build something, you have to write in understandable and easy to follow steps.
No matter what your article is about, you have to be able to write a clear and understandable article in order to effectively reach your target audience.
