How to Reset an Xbox 360 After Repair
- 1). Plug in the Xbox 360 console and place the hard drive into the top of the system before turning it on.
- 2). Press the Xbox button on the Xbox 360 controller; it will bring up the main menu. Scroll right to the "Settings" tab and select "System Settings."
- 3). Choose "Initial Setup" in the "System Settings" tab and answer the questions that are displayed.
- 4). Select the proper language for the console to display. Choose the county or location where the console is currently situated. The type of TV that is connected to the Xbox 360 will determine the type of HDTV settings you then select.
- 5). Select "Family Settings" if you want to limit the videos, games and music that are active on the system. (You can also skip this option.) Choose "Continue"; the Xbox 360 will be at its default settings and ready for customization.
