It is all a choice.
You have a choice - blame others for what 'happened' to you, or take responsibility for your actions and the consequences.
You have a choice - fill your life with responsibilities, or simplify your life and enjoy the freedom.
You have a choice - confront your emotions, or cover them up with pills and alcohol.
You have a choice - accept the life you were sold, or design the life you want.
Rather than blaming your society, religion, parents or peers for the life you have, charge yourself with making the life you want.
Nobody can stop you from dreaming.
Nobody can stop you from scheming.
Therefore, nobody can stop you from standing up and being counted.
There is no need to be an un-dividual when you can be an individual.
The only person stopping you from being the person you want to be, is you.
If you allow the thoughts, beliefs and ideas of others to limit who you could be, then you only have yourself to blame, and you only have yourself to be ashamed of.
I encourage you to follow your dreams, for even if you do not make it to the moon you will land in the stars and you will have discovered and uncovered parts of you that you were not aware of until you made the choice to be the individual you have the right to be.
