Here are my suggestions for country music DVDs that would make good gifts for the country music fan in your life -- or just to treat yourself.

This is Randy Travis's first holiday DVD. It includes live performances shot at the historic CarlsbadCaverns in Carlsbad, New Mexico, plus homespun stories and a look at Carlsbad's beautiful "River of Lights" Christmas tradition.The DVD also has additional exclusive footage of the breathtaking locales including the Carlsbad Caverns and a "making-of" featurette. The DVD is highlighted by spectacular footage of Randy performing "Silent Night" and "Rock Of Ages" in a cavern 850 feet underground.
This is an incredible piece of history for any music fan.Hearing the story of Bill Monroe's musical journey in his own words is something that no fan should miss.Grab a bowl of popcorn and settle in for 90 minutes well spent.

Well, that is not the case on a new DVD of performances that were filmed live on the "Glen Campbell Good Time Hour."Obviously it is impossible to put every performance on one disc and even if they released them all it would take hundreds of discs to get the whole collection, so until then, fans can enjoy Glen Campbell - Good Times Again."

A fantastic collection of songs performed live by one of the most energetic artists to come along in years. Urban and his band steal your attention along with the audiences for almost 2 hours. Special features include a sneak peek into a three-song soundcheck performance with mostly just Urban and his guitar.

'Nashville Rebel' DVD - Waylon Jennings
This is the companion piece to the Nashville Rebel box set. You may wonder why I'm spotlighting the DVD rather than the CD box set? While collections of artist's music are great to have, I think that having a collection of videos of the artist is even more rare. These are from appearances Waylon made on shows, such as the Johnny Cash Show, Cowboy Jack Clement's TV Show, a 1978 Opryland concert, and some TV commercials.'Opry Video Classics' DVD - Various Artists
