Mike Hammon took the stage performing "Safe in the Arms of Love," after being announced by Chonda Pierce who had once again taken over as show host.

James Payne and Lawrence Bishop shared the names of the nominees for New Artist of the Year. The nominees are Amanda Fessant, Greg McDougal, Lesa Hudson, Russ Murphy, and Sharene Spielman.

To the delighted screams of the audience, Russ Murphy took home the New Artist of the Year award.

The entertainment continued with Nashville Star winner Brad Cotter singing "Gods Fingerprints," followed by the Fox Brothers presentation of the Living Legend award to James Payne.

Next up, the Mainstream Country Artist of the Year nominees of Alan Jackson, Blue County, Joe Nichols, Josh Turner, Martina McBride and Randy Travis were announced by Jason Meadows and Sandra Dee.

The 2007 Mainstream Country Artist of the Year award went to Josh Turner.

Richie McDonald, whom you might know better as the lead singer from Lonestar, made his first television appearance since leaving the group to pursue a solo career played the piano and sang his new solo song "Hey God."

After McDonald's amazing performance, Margo Smith and Holly presented Male Vocalist of the Year. This year's nominees are Chucky Nelms, Mike Hammock, Mike Manuel, Rich McCready, and Tommy Brandt.

This year's ICM Male Vocalist of the Year award went to Tommy Brandt.

The entertainment continued with Songwriter of the Year Mike Manual performing "I've Got It Bad," and Tammy Cochran singing the title song from her Where I Am album.

Youth in Music nominees Mathew Wacaster, Carrie Sneed, and Amber Morgan announced the nominees for Music Evangelist of the Year as Bill Mullis, Clint Miller, Corey Brooks, Lawrence Bishop, Leo Johnston of CrossCountry and Tom Lanza.

The 2007 ICM Music evangelist went to Bill Mullis.

Next to perform was this year's Vocal Duo of the Year Branded, singing "Simple Life," followed by Del Way's performance of "Card Carrying Christian."

Steve McGranahan and Barry McGee took the stage to announcing the Female Vocalist of the year nominees as Mary James, Melanie Walker, Natalie Grant, Rebecca Linda Smith, Sandra Dee and Sonya Isaacs.

This year's ICM Female Vocalist of the Year award went to Sonya Isaacs.

We were told Sonya was unable to attend this years ICM Awards show because she was in Africa.

Next, Blue County did an acoustic performance of "How You Walk On Land" that left the crowd cheering for more.

The last award of the show was the Entertainer of the Year award, presented by Song of the Year nominee, Trent Tomlinson and Mike Rimmey. This year's nominees are Brad Cotter, CrossCountry The Band, Del Way, Dennis Agajanian, and Tommy Brandt.

The 2007 ICM Entertainer of the Year went to Del Way.

Corey Brooks closed the 2007 ICM Awards show with his performance of "Real Life."
