How to Play Downloaded PC Games
- 1). Know your options in booting up a program, from the bare-bones command prompt method to streamlined desktop shortcuts. Each method can be done independently from the others with the same result.
- 2). Double-click on the "My Computer" icon on your desktop. Go to the drive labeled "C:" and open the folder called "Program Files." Find the developer of the game, open that folder and double-click the game's icon.
- 3). Access the "Start menu" from the bottom-left corner of your desktop by either clicking the button or pressing the windows logo on your keyboard and select "Run" from the list of options. Type in the path to the game you want to play, which follows the same folder path as searching through "My Computer." For example: c:\program files\developer\game.exe.
- 4). Open the start menu and hover your cursor over the "All Programs" button until a menu appears beside it. Find the folder named after the developer of the game, hover over it and click the game's icon (which looks like its logo) from the menu that appears.
- 5). Double-click the icon of the game on your desktop. This is easily the fastest way to open a program.
