• The South Worthington Historic District, also known as "Old Worthington," is in southern Worthington, Massachusetts, and features Federal and Mid-19th century Revival style homes. This district is listed in the U.S. National Register of Historic Places. No hotels are in Worthington, but accommodations are available within 30 minutes at towns, such as Northampton and Pittsfield. • The Becket Motel in Becket is a 25-minute drive southeast of South Worthington. This budget motel is in the heart of Becket State Forest, a recreation area with walking and bicycling trails. Shopping and dining opportunities are in Chester, less than 10 minutes from the motel. The motel features picnicking areas, parking spaces for RVs and a playground. Hotel Northampton

• Situated in Northampton, the Hotel Northampton is a 30-minute drive east of South Worthington. Opened since 1927, this full-service hotel has a fitness center, limousine transportation service and two restaurants, Coolidge Park Cafe and Wiggins Tavern. The Coolidge Park Cafe serves breakfast and lunch underneath a glass atrium ceiling, while dinner is served at Wiggins, which has a colonial New England décor. The elegant Grand Ballroom hosts banquets and wedding receptions; six banquet rooms also are available. The rooms have antique-style furniture, and the 13 suites have living rooms. The hotel is within walking distance of restaurants on Main Street and Market Street. The campus of Smith College is a five-minute drive away, and features the Smith College Museum of Art and Botanic Garden.
  
  

Travelodge Pittsfield

• The Travelodge is in Pittsfield, approximately 30 minutes west of South Worthington, and within walking distance of restaurants and shops at the Allendale Shopping Center, and Stop and Shop Plaza. Local Pittsfield cultural attractions are within 10 minutes of the hotel, including the Colonial Theater, which was built in 1903, and Berkshire Athenaeum, a library that was built in the 1870s. Travelodge has a Swiss chalet appearance, with parking for RVs, a meeting room for receptions and an on-site restaurant, the Elephant Room. The restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. Autumn Inn

• The Autumn Inn, located in Northampton, is a 30-minute drive from South Worthington, and features an outdoor swimming pool and a restaurant with a brick fireplace. The dining room serves breakfast. The hotel has suites with sitting rooms and kitchenettes. The 150-acre Look Park is less than 10 minutes from the hotel and features recreation areas with walking and bicycling paths. Theatrical performances at Calvin Theater are within 10 minutes of the Autumn Inn. Local eateries, such as the Green Street Cafe and Circa Restaurant, are a five-minute drive.
