How to Easily Install the Internet on a PSP
- 1). Plug your Sony PSP into a wall outlet. Never update your firmware on battery power; if the battery dies or your PSP suddenly turns off during the process, it could lead to an irreversible system failure.
- 2). Turn on your Sony PSP.
- 3). Select "Settings" from the menu.
- 4). Select "Network Update." The PSP will search for available updates and let you know whether one is available for download. Hit "X."
- 5). Continue to hit "X" until the update process begins. Once it does, do not turn off your PSP or attempt to play a game. Let the unit sit until the update is finished. Updating your firmware installs the PSP's on-board Web browser, which lets you access the Internet.
