Dylan Bruno As Colby Granger
Dylan Bruno, also known as Colby Granger on CBS' show Numb3rs, was one of the more popular add-in characters.
Bruno originally started as a temporary character, but due to his large and growing fan base, stayed from season two to the ending in season six.
Colby Granger's happy-go-lucky attitude is one of the things that makes viewers so attracted to him.
In the show, we learn that Granger's father died when he was fifteen (an event which Bruno's character is not sure was accidental or suicidal), and that one of the things he made Colby that he kept was a fishing lure, which David Sinclair takes when he Granger is arrested for treason in season three.
When he is proven innocent and a triple agent, attempting to flush out a dirty agent in the DOJ, David Sinclair eventually replaces the fishing lure back on Colby's desk after he complains that Quantico didn't return all of his personal belongings.
We learn that Colby Granger's father died when he was fifteen after Megan states that she guesses "his father will just make him a new fishing lure.
" As of the show's ending in 2010 there is still no word on what happened to the woolly mammoth that he left on his desk.
Colby enjoys fishing and comes from the small town of Winchester, Idaho.
He also enjoys an occasional game of chess and darts.
He calls Charlie Eppes, Don Eppes' brother, "Whiz Kid.
" He collects army dolls.
He will not punch women, which viewers can find out in the Arrow Of Time, when he is attacked physically by a woman and asks his co-worker, Nikki Bentacourt, to bail him out.
He is taken hostage in the show "Ultimatum" by Ian Edgerton, who is trying to prove himself innocent.
He eventually ends up doing so and he releases Colby Granger.
Colby Granger ends the show by staying in the LA area and working with Don Eppes.
