How to Create a Streaming Banner in Dreamweaver
- 1). Open Dreamweaver. Open the document to which you would like to add the banner. Switch to "Split" view by clicking "View>Code and Design."
- 2). In the Design frame, place the cursor where you would like the banner to appear. The cursor will automatically move to the same position in the Code frame.
- 3). In the Code frame, type "<marquee>Place your text here</marquee>." The marquee tag will make the text you have entered scroll across the page.
- 4). Enter parameters after the first marquee tag to control exactly how your scrolling banner is displayed. For instance, to change the direction, type "<marquee direction="left">" (to make your banner stream from right to left).
