How Do I Change My Guerrilla Air Tank to a Low Pressure Tank?
- 1). Release all pressure on the tank if it is charged. The top of the tank works like a tire valve. Press down on the small pin at the center of the valve with the end of a hex wrench. The air will begin to hiss and escape. Hold the valve down until the tank is empty.
- 2). Stand the air tank up on a worktable. Using a 4 mm hex wrench, loosen and remove two setscrews that hold the nozzle to the end of the tank. They are the only two screws there that will fit the wrench.
- 3). Unscrew the nozzle clockwise and lift it off the tank. Set the tank aside.
- 4). Hold the nozzle with one hand. There is a small piston coming out the end of the nozzle. Wiggle and pull on it until with your other hand until the piston comes out of the nozzle. It will expose a spring and some bushings on the end of the piston. Don't let the spring fall off and get lost.
- 5). Pull the spring and the shims off the piston. Open the kit. Take out the bushings. Place them on the piston one at a time. Place the spring back on.
- 6). Screw the nozzle back on the tank. Screw the two setscrews back into the nozzle. The tank is ready to charge.
