I have camped here for over 22 years, and I RV camped there in May 2008.

Describe your camping trip:

Campground is huge with work and improvements going on constantly.

Pros: It's not that far away from home, just long enough for a weekend trip.

Cons: They are out for the almighty dollar. We camped over 2008 Memorial Day Weekend. When I went to make reservations for the same weekend in 2009 the price doubled.


I understand that businesses need to make a profit, but a jump of just over 100% is quite hard to swallow. I went to the office the next day to cancel my reservation and was charged a $25 service fee. It was worth the fee. We will not be going back.

Further comments: Staff was rude, bathrooms were not stocked (no paper towels, soap dispensers not refilled). Being a holiday weekend you would think that they would have been up to speed. Front pool never was open during the weekend, and the water slide was not open either.
