I bought the Panasonic DMR-EZ48V because I had a gift card that was about to expire as the store was going out of Business ( God rest their sole) and I wanted to have one that is as of Good Quality and will stand up for a long long time.
As I did my research I found that the Panasonic was in the top Ten in the reviews I read so I put Panasonic at the top of my list.
I went to do a little shopping and found the Panasonic DMR - EZ48V.
I purchased it, took it home and opened the box and started hooking it up.
It wasn't very hard to hook up as all the parts were supplied.
All the cords necessary for the interface and even the batteries for the remote control were supplied.
I put in a DVD and began to watch my favorites TV show as I have most of them on DVD and as usual, I came across a few segments of the DVD that I wanted to replay.
As I scaned the remote for the rewind button, I discover that the play button is the big button with a protruding dot at the top so it is very Easy to find in the dark and with just a scan of your finger tip to feel it.
I LOVE IT! Another thing I liked about the layout of the remote control was the fact that the rewind and forward buttons were side by side just above the of the "play" Button, and the (seg)ment) buttons were also side by side together just to the left of the rewind and forward buttons just above the stop button.
It is a very nice layout of buttons put together so you don't have to go searching with a flashlight in the dark when you want to perform a command.
Just feel around the buttons a little and you'll find the buttons you frequently use with just a touch.
