Find pictures of a hand that have Creative Commons licenses. There are a variety of Creative Commons licenses, which require various forms of crediting and may be restricted from certain usages. See CreativeCommons.org to learn more about the specific types of licenses.
One excellent database of usable images is http://commons.wikimedia.com. Search "hand" and scroll down to the "Permission" section. If there's a copyright symbol with a strike through it, this means that the picture can be used and possibly even manipulated without any worries of infringing on copyright. You may be required to cite the creator and/or the license it is available under.
