Nintendo 64 Game Cheats
- Nintendo 64 (N64) was introduced by Nintendo in September 1996. The system was named for its 64-bit CPU, a true technological advancement for its time. It would become, however, Nintendo's last game console to use GamePaks to store games rather than the mini DVDs or DVDs that are now popular. Nintendo 64 introduced many popular games for this console, including Super Mario 64, James Bond: Golden Eye 007 and A Bug's Life. These games are still popular among N64 users, and each have cheat codes to help players beat the game faster.
- Make your A Bug's Life character invincible by going up the ant hill from the main screen. Input this sequence of buttons on your controller: hold the "C" up, hold the "C" down, move the "C" left, then move the "C" right. Follow that sequence by hitting the "Z" button then pressing "R."
You can also enable invincibility at the beginning of a new level. When the new level description appears, hold down the "Z," "R," and "L" buttons simultaneously. Used this way, invincibility only lasts for the current level. - Earn extra coins by running around any post in the game five times. Coins will drop out of the sky that can be used to buy better health.
Get unlimited lives by locating the waterfall outside the castle. Find the third tree from the waterfall and climb it. At the top of the tree, do a handstand to receive an extra life. Then climb down the tree and enter the castle's first floor. Exit the castle and repeat the handstand in the tree to get another life. Repeat this as often as you want for extra lives.
Receive a bonus from Yoshi by climbing inside the cannon's opening (near the fish pond outside of the castle). Land Mario on the roof of the castle, where he will meet Yoshi. Yoshi will then award Mario a "100 life bonus" and a "triple jump move." - Cheating in James Bond: Golden Eye 007 is convenient, since all cheat codes can be entered into the cheat menu at the beginning of the game. To give your character access to every weapon, enter this sequence of movements with your controller: Down, Left, "C" up, Right, L + Down, L + Left, L + Up, "C" left, Left, then hold "C" down until you hear a confirmation sound. Leave the menu to save your cheat.
To unlock an infinite amount of ammunition. enter in this sequence into the cheat menu: L + "C" down, L + R + R, "C" right, "C" left, R + Left, L + "C" down, L + R + Left, L + R + "C" down, L + Up, then hold "C" right until you hear a confirmation sound.
