Oil Spill in the Gulf Coast Creates More Interest in Alternate Energy

The whole world is disgusted by the oil spill in the Gulf Coast and how the clean up is being handled.
Many people around the world are taking another more sincere look at alternative energies.
It's just a shame it takes something so terribly bad for people to realize the things they can do that are so good.
Everyone from the President of the United States and on down to the spokesperson for BP are saying that BP is responsible for the disaster and the cost of the clean up but we as Americans all know that they will not lose a dime for the expense of this clean up, as they will simply increase the cost of oil/gas to cover the expense and we will ultimately be the bearers of the cost of clean up.
It never fails.
They destroy the eco-system and kill the wildlife and we - the general public - bear the cost of their atrocities.
These costs have gotten so far out of hand that people are taking serious looks into alternative energies like solar power panels and wind power turbines and this is the only good to come of all the bad being created by the big oil companies and their less than acceptable safety policies for the environment.
Frankly speaking, there is no good that can come to the environment from fossil fuels.
The use of them alone is destructive to the environment, without them even being dumped into the ocean.
The great thing about solar power panels and wind power generators is they are both environmentally friendly and wont cost you and arm and a leg.
Plus, after the initial minor cost to purchase a pre-built unit or even less of a cost to DIY - Do it Yourself - and you help protect the environment and lower your utilities.
The absolute best part is they are available forever.
The sun energizes the solar panel providing electricity for your personal home, or business and you can never be charged for the electricity it creates and you use on a daily basis.
The wind turbine has all of the same benefits...
Great for the environment, as well as your wallet.
All it takes is wind and you instantly change that power into electricity for use at home, or your business.
It is our duty being a part of the benefactors of the environment, to take steps which help save the environment from getting polluted.
We can do this by stopping the use of fossil fuels.
Bringing green power sources into use will be a more futuristic approach.
Green power sources include water, sun, wind and biomass.
We have not used these in the past as much as we should have.
However, we must take a step now or later on it will be too late.
