How to Make a 3D Model of a WoW Toon
- 1). Log in to your character on World or Warcraft, and dress him as you would like him to appear in your 3D model.
- 2). Access the FigurePrints website (see Resources) and supply your character's name and realm (server). FigurePrints will automatically capture the look of your character from within the game.
- 3). Click the "Change Pose" button, and choose the stance you would like your character to have in the 3D model. The stances are the same as the stances from within the game, and include battle actions such as a two-handed attack, spell cast and battle roar, and emotes such as sitting, begging or yelling.
- 4). Click the "Change Base" button and choose the base on which your character will stand. Your character can stand on bases that appear to be made of marble, gold, ivy, grass, stone, runes or a number of different designs.
- 5). Press the "Change Armor Set" button if you would like to change the equipment your character is wearing. By default, your character will wear the same equipment that she is wearing in the game, but you may also choose from a variety of sets of armor if you want to give your model a different look.
- 6). Check the boxes next to "Show Helm," "Show Cloak" or "Show Tabard" to decide whether or not these pieces of equipment should be displayed on your character model.
- 7). Check the box next to "Equip Ranged Weapon" if you want your model to be holding the ranged weapon (or wand in the case of spell casters) you currently have equipped. Uncheck the box next to "Sheathe Weapons" if you want your character to hold his current main hand and off-hand weapons.
- 8). Press the "Continue Ordering" button when you are satisfied with the look of your model. Enter the payment and shipping information on the next page.
