Poker Psychology - Where"s the Unfold Button?

Ever had the situation where you get awful hole cards like say, 2-9 off, and of course you do the right thing and fold them.
You don't even think about playing them, right? Well, maybe if you're the big blind and no-one raises you'll check to play them.
But you still feel guilty about even doing that with such embarrassing cards...
So you fold, congratulating yourself that you didn't waver in your dismissal of the atrocious hand that the poker gods have (again) dealt you.
Horror upon horror, down comes the flop 9-9-2.
Or 2-2-9.
Or 2-2-2! And before you say "Ah well, but that never happens", well it does.
Rarely, but it does.
So you sit there staring at your would-have-been killer hand play out in front of you, compounded by the fact that 2 possibly 3 of your opponents are going all in...
If only there was a big Unfold button.
You know what you should do? Play bad hands sometimes! Not all the time, but occasionally -- and only when you have an element of control.
Maybe when you're on the button, or you have a large stack and are looking to boss the table, you're bullying the small stack, or it's just a good value call.
But be prepared to fold pretty darn quick if the flop doesn't produce 2 pair or above.
You may also want to deliberately play a bad hand and end up showing your cards for a small loss, in order to purposely give your opponents the false impression that you are a donkey.
Beware, though.
It might actually be that you are in fact, a donkey.
Good luck at the tables! Mark
