How to Identify the Model of McCulloch Chain Saw
- 1). Place the chain saw on its side, with the oil and fuel cap facing up.
- 2). Tighten both fuel and oil caps so nothing is spilled.
- 3). Flip the chain saw so the bottom is facing up. Locate the serial number plate. It will be exposed on the chain saw housing. On the top of the serial plate is the word "Model" followed by a combination of letters and numbers. This is the model identification.
