Bars in Downtown Nashville
- Because Nashville, Tennessee, is home to Vanderbilt University, as well as to a large number of young professionals, the city's downtown area features a highly active nightlife. Many of the bars adopt the city's authentic country style, offering patrons country music, often played live, hearty southern food and cowboy hats galore.
- Robert's Western World is a true honky tonk bar located in downtown Nashville's historic district. The bar's house band, Brazillbilly, is always on hand to play country music classics by musicians such as Johnny Cash, Hank Williams and Patsy Cline. Robert's Western World is open seven nights a week until 3 a.m. Children and families of all ages are welcome until 10 p.m.; after 10 p.m., all patrons must be at least 21 years old. On Sunday mornings, the venue hosts a nondenominational Sunday Morning Gospel Fellowship, led by Father Ron Blakely.

The drink menu features a variety of Irish whiskeys and scotches, in addition to a number of beer and wine options. The food menu is comprised of authentic Irish dishes, such as bangers and mash, corned beef and cabbage and fish and chips. Mulligan's Pub is open on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 4 p.m. to 1 a.m., on Fridays and Saturdays from 4 p.m. to 2 a.m. and on Sundays from noon until 8:00 p.m.
