How to Grill Shrimp New Orleans Style

    • 1). Combine 2 tbsp. olive oil with 3 minced cloves of garlic and 1/2 tsp. salt. Add the shrimp and toss until covered thoroughly. Leave the shrimp sitting in the oil mixture for at least 15 minutes.

    • 2). In a saucepan, add 6 tbsp. butter, 2 tsp. each chili powder and black pepper, 4 tsp. Worcestershire sauce and 1/4 tsp. salt. Heat over low heat until the butter is melted. Stir constantly while cooking.

    • 3). Remove the saucepan from the heat and add mix in 1 tbsp. of fresh lemon juice. Set to the side.

    • 4). Place four to five shrimp on each wooden skewer and grill on medium high heat for two minutes on each side.

    • 5). Remove cooked shrimp from the skewers and place in a bowl. Pour the butter mixture over the shrimp and combine well to ensure even coating.
