Wedding Bell Blues

Soon, Nick and Gabi’s wedding day arrived, and Will and Sonny, who had just decided to move in together, attended the ceremony. But just as the priest was about to pronounce the couple husband and wife, Chad stood up and announced the child Gabi was carrying wasn’t Nick’s. Realizing the jig was up, Will shocked everyone by announcing he was the father of Gabi's baby.

In irate Sonny couldn’t believe Will had kept such a huge secret from him and ran off.

Later, Will caught up with him and tried to explain, insisting he loved Sonny. Although Sonny admitted he loved Will, too, he wasn’t sure they could get past this.

While Will and Sonny’s relationship was slowly unraveling, Will realized he wanted to be a father to his unborn child, now that the truth was out. After telling Gabi, he went to Sonny and shared the news with him. Will explained that he kept Gabi’s pregnancy a secret, because he loved Sonny and didn’t want to lose him. Will and Sonny ended up in a kiss, but Sonny broke away. Will admitted that Sonny was the best thing that ever happened to him.

Overcoming Another Man

Brian, who was carrying a torch for Sonny, wandered into the coffeehouse. Sonny imagined he was there to tell him, “I told you so,” regarding Will. Brian wasn’t. He was there to talk and banter and flirt. The flirting eventually led to a kiss; a kiss that Will witnessed through the window.

A brokenhearted Will ran off, while Brian tried to take things to the next level with Sonny.

Sonny firmly told him he wasn’t ready to get that close. Unfortunately, that didn key back to him and they’t stop Brian from lying and gloating to Will that he and Sonny had sex. Will and Sonny agreed to move on, but still be friends.

The duo, however, eventually found their way back to each other. On Valentine's Day, Will got a gift from Sonny, not knowing that he had ordered it before their breakup. Will sent Sonny a note saying that he was thrilled to be getting a second chance with him. Sonny found the note, he and Will talked things out and reconciled.
