Harry's Tasks

• Harry must buy two items before he can find Ginny's items. Go into Flourish and Blotts and buy the "Standard Book of Spells Grade 2" for one silver sickle. Then go to Mr. Mulpeppers Apothecary, the shop with many cauldrons outside of it, and buy the "Potion Vial" for eight silver sickles. Fill the vial with Wiggenweld's Stamina Potion.
  
  

Ginny's Scales

• Ginny's scales are in the back room of the closed Magical Menagerie and the shopkeeper will not open the door. Run to the back door. The shopkeeper will stop you again but then wander around the shop. Walk in and hide behind the shelves at the opposite end of the room. Wait for the shopkeeper to move toward the middle of the room in between the two shelves. Run past him when he has his back turned and hit the golden switch to open the back room.
  
  

Ginny's Quill

• Ginny's quill is in a secret room in the Gambol & Japes store. Go into the store and down the stairs on the left, then through the doorway on the left side of the room. The shopkeeper will tell you about the magical measurer in the corner. Cast a Flipendo spell at the corner to reveal a hole. Crawl through the hole to enter a new room. Ginny's quill will be in this room as well as a few barrels.
  
  

Ginny's Spellotape

• Enter the Leaky Cauldron. Destroy the barrels on the right then head for the silver sickle. You will fall through a trap door. Push the switch to unlock the door on your right. Run through the gaps of rolling barrels to get to the door on the left. A pipe will fall and block your exit. Slide along the wall to get to the box. Push the box into the pit, slide it over to the other ledge, and use it to get out. Use the lumos spell to light the way through the passage to find Ginny's spellotape.
