Wrapped Up Securely
The attributes of God to guarantee his children the blessings He can only give should make each of us want to live in such a way that He is pleased with our every move.
He showers us with His goodness, His love, mercy, guidance, all-sufficient grace, faithfulness, and His forgiveness to name a few, and He allows each of us to experience another day, and another opportunity to get things right with ourselves and others when we have been wrong and have wronged others.
Your request to believe what we ask of God to do for us; cannot be compared to the total plan of Him securing us.
We can only become great in this life when God is in and part of the equation.
"Your gentleness has made me great.
" Psalms 18:35.
The Christian journey is no walk in the park with a cool breeze.
Genuine faith is necessary without wavering or being double-minded with believing that God has accepted us as his children when we put our faith and trust in His son Jesus Christ.
Once we have confessed and believe with our hearts and has accepted what Christ has done on our behalf we can experience eternal life now, and we are eternally secured once we die and leave this earth.
Throughout scripture we are told troubles will come; though troubles do come, they will come to pass.
The enemy cannot take our souls from us once we belong to Christ.
"And I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand.
My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of My Father's hand.
" John 10:28-29.
Once you have been truly saved and given your heart to Christ, the Bible teaches eternal security forever.
The only thing that keeps people out of heaven is their own unbelief.
The apostle John in the book of I John 5:12-13 states "He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life.
These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life, and that you may continue to believe in the name of the Son of God.
" The apostle Paul assures us that anything created cannot separate us for the love of God which is in Christ Jesus.
No matter what challenges, dangers, hurts, illnesses, pains, trials, troubles, or evil attacks from the enemy; nothing can separate us from God's love.
Romans 8:35-39.
In times of uncertainty and difficulties' let us run to God; instead of running from Him.
He makes ways of escape whenever we may find ourselves in the hard places of life when it comes to making life changing decisions; mending relationships or when life is so troubling that we just do not know who to turn to.
God is able to keep us in His love of grace and mercies surrounding us to keep us in His will for the rest of our lives.
Eternal security is instant once we place our faith and trust in Jesus and believe what He has done for us; at that very moment of salvation, we are wrapped securely.
