In This Moment vaulted to that proverbial "next level" with their fourth album Blood that was released in 2012. The title track, which was the first single, cracked the top 10 on the rock chart, the band's first song to do so.

Blood adds electronic and industrial elements to the band's sound, and it was a resounding success. The new style also brought a new look for vocalist Maria Brink.
