There are many acne products being introduced to the market each year claiming the same thing over and over again - that is it is all you need to cure and prevent acne breakouts.
Yet none of these has been proven to do that.

For example: Person A and B try out an acne product that contains benzoyl peroxide.
Person A has a very oily skin and has dark skin tone while Person B has a dry skin with a lighter skin tone.
Person A clears out in a matter of week by using this product but Person B seems to break out even more.
The reason behind this is because Person A type of skin and complexion works well with benzoyl peroxide while Person B does not.
Although mentioned in the example it is not proven true and it is recommended that you seek your dermatologist about your acne condition before taking any medication.
The best way to conquer acne is to get back to basics of acne care.
The first step is to learn how acne started and understand the factors that can affect your breakouts.
Second, check out different types of medication available over the counter and pay attention to its ingredient.
Be careful when using such products as the combined use of these can have dramatic results in acne blemishes.
Third, continue to use the product of your choice for about a month before you evaluate it as working or not because it takes awhile for your skin to adjust to this medication.
Refrain from touching your face or picking on your pimples as this will aggravate your skin and may cause scarring.
Also keep in mind to have a proper hygiene, diet and exercise to keep your skin healthy.
Drink at least 8 glasses of water everyday.

He will be able to help you more in regards with your condition and give you an acne prescription medication that you need.
