How to Install a Hard Drive in a Xbox 360 Arcade
- 1). Turn off your Xbox 360 Arcade unit and unplug all of the accessories and cords from it including the power cord.
- 2). Stand the console upright and then press down on the release button (located on the top front) and remove the drive bay cover by pulling it straight up.
- 3). Take your new hard drive and carefully position it where the cover was and then push the front of it down until it clicks into place.
