How to Grow Morning Glories in Pots Indoors

    • 1). Insert a 2-foot garden stake into a plant pot so the stake rests against the side of the pot. Fill the pot with organic potting soil. The soil will hold the stake in place.

    • 2). Fill a bowl with warm water. Soak the morning glory seed in the water for 24 hours. Pat it dry with a paper towel.

    • 3). Make a hole 1/2 inch deep in the potting soil using your finger. Put the seed in the hole and cover it with soil. Water until the soil settles.

    • 4). Place the pot in your sunniest window. The spot should get at least six to eight hours of direct sunlight daily. If you do not have a sunny window, put the pot under an indoor grow light.

    • 5). Water whenever the soil begins to dry out. Water until the liquid comes out of the drainage holes in the pot.
