How to Play the Raga Vasantabhairavi Scale on the Guitar

    • 1). Play your third finger on the fifth fret of the G string. This is the root.

    • 2). Use your fourth finger to play the sixth fret of the G string. This is G sharp, the second degree of the Raga Vasantabhairavi scale.

    • 3). Play the fourth fret of the G string with your second finger. This is B, the third degree of the scale.

    • 4). Stay on the G string and use your fourth finger to play the sixth fret, which is C sharp, the fourth degree of the Raga Vasantabhairavi scale.

    • 5). Move to the B string and play the fifth fret with your third finger. This is E, the scale's fifth degree.

    • 6). Stretch your first finger to reach the second fret of the E string. This is F sharp, the sixth degree of the Raga Vasantabhairavi scale.

    • 7). Play the third fret of the E string with your first finger. This is G, the seventh degree of the scale.

    • 8). To complete the Raga Vasantabhairavi scale, repeat steps 7 through 1 in reverse order until you again reach the root note.
